Will apostates burn in Gehenna???
by kid-A ini seem to recall the wts teaching this many years ago.
the idea was that "apostacy" was the ultimate, unforgiveable sin, because it was.
tantamount to "sinning against the holy spirit".....does anyone recall hearing this idea, that "apostates", along with our buddy satan, will suffer.

Organizing the movement
An individual posted an interesting thread regarding organizing
the "apostate" movement and it seemed to get some positive
feedback.Thoughts going in a similar direction
Personally, my own thoughts would be for a documentary or movie to expose
the Watchtower Society in the same way that the Mormons have received
recent media exposure.Thousands of individuals on this board
There is no reason why something cannot be done to help remedy the
losses and pain that many on this board have had to endure regarding
this corporation. We are many, but we need to become one.Brainstorming
This thread is a very important issue, so can individuals please share
their thoughts and ideas [please be realistic] regarding some kind
of movement or organization.Respectfully,

Is it time for apostasy to get organised?
by nicolaou ini like things the way they are right now.
the watchtower are never sure which direction the next 'assualt' will come from and we often get the jump on them.
but i was wondering if, in addition to all the solo efforts, it might be time to set up something a little more permanent.. i know that my disfellowshipping is only a matter of time - perhaps months - and when it happens i'll have the freedom to act in a way that i cannot risk at present.

Organizing the Former Jehovah's Witness Movement
Personally, this is an exceptional idea not only for the United Kingdom but for
the United States as well. I would like to be apart of this movement in part-
icular anything that would establish a media or Hollywood presence regarding
this issue.Thousands of Individuals on this board
Consider the thousands of individuals on this board who could make a contribution
regarding this issue. With just a little motivation, and the right touch this move-
ment can get off the ground.Respectfully,

Just sent my friend the NGO letter
by sinis inso, what are your thoughts on this.

i asked him about the ngo thing and he knew nothing of it.

How he will respond
It depends on how open-minded he is or is willing to be. Do not underestimate
the brainwashing power of the Watchtower Society. My experience regarding
the same scenario was that both individuals became hostile and offended and
both were lost .The possiblity does exist
I am not going to say that he will now become your ex-friend because you
showed him the document from the United Nations. Just keep in mind that
this scenario can go either way.Respectfully,

Being One of Jehovah's Witnesses
After having been one of Jehovah's Witnesses either through being raised as one or getting the "truth" from the preaching work, some have reverted back to the organization as one of the "lost sheep".
Forgive Us Our Trespasses
It is well documented what the Watchtower has done regarding the issues of
blood transfusions, hiding sexual abuse, involvement with the United Nations
and so forth, however, there are those that still want to go back to the "truth."Why do they do it?
1.) Is it because they still have friends, family members or miss the structure and
" security" that the organization provided?
2).Is there some kind of doubt that perhaps it maybe God's organization after all?
3.)Or is it comparable to smoking "I know smoking will kill me, but after all, I enjoy it!"Please provide your perspective and point of view regarding this matter.

Watchtower and Jonestown Drawing Comparisons

Paradise
When first meeting Jehovah's Witnesses, the message is one of hope
and peace. Promises of God's Kingdom restoring mankind into perfect
peace and harmony, coupled with artists rendering of a paradise like
world where even the animals are at peace with mankind.Paradise Becomes a Prison
Only after having spent some years in "spiritual paradise" some individuals
come to discover it is little more than a corporation filling its pockets for
profits. Rules and regulations must be followed in order to gain the groups
approval. Anything, that deviates from what the "higher ups" have layed
down as law, gains immediate discipline and disapproval.Jones Town
In 1978, the now deceased and infamous Jim Jones of the Peoples Temple
ordered more than 900 of his followers to drink cyanide-poisoned punch.
Sadly, most of his followers did so willingly, with only a few opting not too.Questions about the Watchtower
Even though the Watchtower Society does not endorse such wholesale
mass murder suicide pacts, there has been discussion regarding the
emotional and psychological scars done by the Society. Even though
their are no bodies littered in one given area, how does the Watch-
tower measure up to Jonestown? The scars maybe invisible but the pain
is all too real. Please add your commentary to expand upon this discussion.

I'd appreciate some insight on what my mother claims was said at assembly
by free2beme inokay, well my mother called this evening and was all emotional about her one day assembly.
i was shocked she brought it up, as we just do not mention the religion anymore, but lately little things keep getting said at her conventions and assemblies that seem to be making this line something she wants to cross more these days.
what she brought up, was something i had not heard mentioned on here and i wanted some insight from people who actually heard it or knew more about it.

the trip to the one day assembly please do
so. And, let's get to the bottom of this.Just remember to hold your nose!

Specific Questions
Mom, who exactly is endorsing this "time of the end" position? Where
is he or she getting this information from? How, do they really know
or how can this be verified to be true?Preaching Work
If you had 6 million employees distributing millions of pieces of your
literature each and every month for years on end; would you close
down the preaching work?Respectfully,
